Back from the deep blue sea

Well, for those of you who knew I was gone (Jenny for sure!!), I am now back!!!! Dave and I got to go on a cruise to the southern Caribbean.... sans kiddos. We flew to San Juan Puerto Rico and then sailed for a whole week of beach bliss. We got to see St. Thomas, Barbados and Dominica again, then got to see three new islands.....St. Kitts, Antigua and St. Maarten. It was a truly relaxing week. Jenny and Steve got to be Aunt and Uncle of the Year (or probably Ten Years), as they got the privilege of watching all our sweet and perfect :*) children and wonderful pets. I am eternally grateful to them for doing this for us!!!!! I thought I might loose my dear husband in Puerto Rico, he was truly on his last leg. On our last day sailing, he got a horrible outer ear infection with a tremendous amount of pain. He had a great amount of swelling and blisters and still has absolutely no hearing out of his left ear. We did find that you can get medications in PR without scripts, so I was able to play doctor and get him some antibiotics, drops and pain meds. I am quite certain that he was thankful that I knew something about medication and got him a measure of pain relief. As do all good things, vacation came to an end and we returned to cold and dreary Indiana on Monday. Reality hit when we returned to work on Tuesday. I was hit with about 379 emails and a whole string of voice mail!!! Such is life after vacation......however I am not complaining it was worth it!!!!!
